升级到14.04后，Ubuntu bootloader卡在恢复解析器状态

我在Ubuntu 13.10之后升级到14.04。但是，升级后，系统重新启动。但卡住了显示消息的黑屏：

此时系统卡住了几个小时。甚至无法访问控制台，因此无法执行任何操作。

我无法格式化我的系统，因为它包含我的所有项目代码和其他重要数据。

我的Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS VM挂在了 Restoring resolver state。我发现此链接中的指南很有帮助： 引导挂起在“恢复解析器状态”。

提出的基本修复是：

1. 按下打开虚拟控制台 按Ctrl + Alt键 + F2 。 （我没有使用GUI，所以我使用PuTTY登录。）
2. 登录
3. 执行 sudo apt-get -f install
4. 执行 sudo shutdown -r now

根据需要重复步骤1-4。

您可以尝试穿插步骤3 sudo apt-get update 和 sudo apt-get upgrade 直到你得到理想的结果。

我意识到这是一个老问题，但我认为这可以帮助将来有人（这是第一个google结果）。在更新到14.04之后发生了同样的情况 - 我能够将Ctr + Alt + F1改为tty并登录，然后从那里我可以手动sudo启动gdm。这并没有严格意义上解决问题（我仍然试图追踪），但当我用Ctr + Alt + F7切换回来时，它确实让我进入登录界面，并且至少可以访问桌面应该在重新安装操作系统之前更容易备份重要文件。

要明确：这不是解决方案，只是一种解决方法。如果我找到一个永久修复，我会更新这个。
