For GeForce 8 and 9 series GPUs use `nvidia-340`

nvidia-370 is the current BETA release!

## Install PTS and benchmark your gear:

    sudo apt-get install phoronix-test-suite

Run the benchmark:

    phoronix-test-suite default-benchmark openarena xonotic tesseract gputest unigine-valley

and then say yes when it asks you to submit your results to openbechmarking.org. Then grab a cup of coffee, it takes a bit for the benchmarks to run. Depending on the version of Ubuntu you're using it might preferable for you to grabs PTS from upstream directly: http://www.phoronix-test-suite.com/?k=downloads

根据Nvidia驱动程序网站，驱动程序367.35和驱动程序364.19支持GTX 960M。较早的驱动程序，例如340.96，不支持GTX 960M。

最好使用Ubuntu的最新版本。如果它是LTS版本，那么我们应该安装最新的Point Release。在14.04中，这将是14.04.2，而在8月底将发布14.04.3。16.04应该在7月底发布其第一版（16.04.1）。这些主要发行版的目的是使发行版保持最新，以便使用LTS发行后发布的硬件驱动程序。
